The story of "Violetta", is about a musically talented teenager who returns to her hometown to "find love", and explore her passion for music. Starting a new school (Studio 21)  the series is centred around Violetta and her journal which holds her dreams, thoughts, friends and life around school. Violetta herself is a super talented teen; she has an incredible innate singing ability which even she doesn’t know about. Unbeknown to her family, Violetta has inherited the musical abilities of her mother, a famous musician and singer who died in an accident when Violetta was very young.

The Music Show doll set includes a Violetta doll in an outfit similar to the one worn in the tv series, a mini microphone and a stage for the Violetta doll to perform on. The mini microphone has a record and play back feature so girls can record their own performances and play them back for others to hear.
