With Dyson's revolutionary Ball™ technology, the DC47 can turn on the spot. Inside the ball is the heaviest component - the motor - located in near the base for a low centre of gravity to provide better stability. Dyson Ball cylinders follow with better control and greater manoeuvrability for easy steering around obstacles. The ball's smooth edges mean it won't dig into carpet pile and bearings in the axle reduce friction to allow the ball to rotate smoothly.

Lightweight and compact design mean it's easy to pull and the DC47 includes a Dual channel floor tool for increased dirt pick-up across all floor types. - A.D.
