On the night before 9/11, a young man living in Soho takes out an ad for a new roommate for his 2-bedroom apartment. On the day after 9/11, he has 5 messages on his machine from people who want to come see the apartment despite the fact that the neighbourhood is practically shut down. Based on a critically acclaimed stage play, the film explores life in New York after 9/11 through the struggles of one man as he tries to find a roommate and keep his emotional balance during the strange days that followed the devastating attack on the city.
