Growing up as a poor, black child in Georgia is not an easy task. With a tough-love mother pushing you to turn your lack of sight into an asset is even harder. With training Ray eventually learned to play the piano and did so with elegance. Soon he became an American Legend and was one of the most famous faces in the world. His fame came at a cost; drug problems and abusive relationships meant it wasn’t an easy life for Ray.
