A true story drama about a violent and abusive father and husband. While Maryanne and Daniel Walker-Tate appear to have the perfect marriage and family life, Daniel is increasingly violent towards both his wife and children. When Maryanne is hospitalised she decides not to press charges or even admit to the beatings but returns home to find that Daniel has locked her out and is filing for divorce. When she then loses the custody battle for the children, Maryanne is forced to take drastic action to rescue them.
