Crossfire, directed by Oscar nominated Edward Dmytryk and based on the novel by Richard Brooks, tackles the subject of anti-semitism - a hot topic in 1947. When a Jewish man is killed and Capt. Finlay, played by Emmy winner Robert Young, suspects demobilized U.S. Soldiers, all evidence points towards racial motivations.
