Looking forward to bier kellers, frauleins, high wages and no taxes, Dennis (Tim Healy), Neville (Kevin Whately) and Oz (Jimmy Nail) leave Newcastle for work on a building site in Dusseldorf, meeting up with fellow ex-pats Wayne (Gary Holton), Bowder (Pat Roach), Barry (Timothy Spall) and Moxey (Christopher Fairbank).
Episode 4. Suspicion; Missing property in the hut causes distress all around. With everyone under suspicion, the lads come up with numerous ways to catch the culprit red-handed.
Episode 5. Home Thoughts From Abroad; Bomber learns his sixteen-year old daughter has run away from the family home in Bristol. The lads rally round while he tracks her down.
Episode 6. The Accused; Dennis's divorce is impending but Neville has even more women trouble. He is accused of rape by a woman he met in a bar.
