You will have the choice of either a Hot Stone Massage or the new revolutionary Lava Shell Massage.

What happens on the day?

Upon arrival at your chosen salon you will be greeted by a member of the Dove Spa team and shown to your treatment room.

You will have a choice of the following treatments:

Hot Stone Massage – Basalt stones are bathed in warm water and anointed with fragrant oils. The stones are placed on the energy points of the body, evoking an aura of warmth. The deep penetrating heat from the stones are used to massage the body using traditional techniques to release muscular tension and balance the spirit.

OR

Lava Shell Massage - The revolutionary new treatment from the Tropics offers all the benefits of a hot stone massage but with the added bonus of being eco friendly.

Lava Shells are 100% real recycled Tiger Striped Clam Shells from the South Pacific which heat up internally for up to an hour with a patented combination of all natural minerals and water. Our Skin Care Experts use between one and four shells to deliver a deep, therapeutic massage with continuous heat and client touch. The Lava Shells massage uses shells, which have a smooth side to give both deep pressure and a soothing effect. The heat can also be used on problems areas to release muscle tension and soreness and to promote relaxation of the fascia layers that connect muscles to the rest of the body.

This experience is available at selected Dove Spa salons nationwide.

We recommend you wear comfortable clothing.

How long should I allow for this experience?

Total treatment time is approximately forty five minutes*

When does the activity take place?

This experience is available Monday to Thursday. All bookings are subject to availability. You must book and take your experiences before the expiry date.

It is recommended that you book a date at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and it is advised that you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment as vouchers may not be extended. All bookings are subject to availability.

Are there any restrictions?

The minimum age for this experience is 18 years old.

Please advise your chosen location at the time of booking if you have any medical conditions so that they are able to check if this will affect your day.

Some treatments and types of oils used are not suitable for use on pregnant ladies. Please check with your chosen location.

What about the weather?

The weather will not affect this experience.

What about insurance?

Personal Accident Insurance to the value of £50,000 together with cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher. The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to vehicles or equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or willful negligence.

What else do I need to know?

Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before your expiry date as vouchers may not be extended beyond their expiry.

This experience is for two people to experience separately, whilst in the salon. In some locations start times may be staggered, this is due to equipment, room and therapist availability. If you wish to have treatments in the same room please contact the salon at the time of booking to see if this is available. Facilities vary from one salon to another and this is subject to availability.

You will be provided with refreshments during your experience to include water.

How do I make a booking?

1.    Read through this sheet for further information and answers to some of the questions you might have about your experience.

2.    Contact the centre (see contact details below) and inform them that you hold an experience voucher for the type of experience shown on it. Please quote the product code that appears at the bottom of your voucher.

3.    Make a booking at a mutually agreed time before the expiry date on the voucher. (Book well in advance – the centre can get very busy.)

4.    Once the centre accepts your booking you are bound by their terms and conditions. Make sure you understand their rules regarding changing or cancelling your booking (particularly at short notice).

5.    The centre may require you to send them your voucher to confirm your booking: if so, we recommend you keep a record of your voucher number and use Registered Post, as your voucher is a valuable document which cannot be replaced if lost.
