One Piece: Pirate Warriors is the eagerly awaited action adventure game developed by Temco Koei and published by Namco Bandai, released exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game is based on the immensely popular Japanese shonen manga and anime series One Piece, written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda, and was created to celebrate the franchise's 15th anniversary.
Step into the shoes of One Piece's young protagonist Monkey D. Luffy once more, the captain of a disorderly band of pirates that call themselves the Straw Hats that can't go a day without discovering a brand new adventure. Face hordes of pirate and Marine enemies as you sail all around the globe, experiencing moments from all different parts of the series, from Orange Town through to Marineford. Encounter both new and familiar characters from the franchise, as well as both new and old lands.
Experience the exhilarating action and combat of Pirate Warriors, with Luffy's signature special rubber ability so you can extend your arms and deliver fast as lightening punches, and even deflect cannonballs with rubber. You will need to utilise these special abilities as Luffy himself does in the manga in order to complete stages within the game, and progress throughout the adventure. Within the game there are several modes in which you can play Pirate Warriors, ranging from the game's story mode Main Log which allows the player to play through to the storyline, the mode Another Log where the player can play through a character's storyline, to the Adventure Mode where Luffy plays through the events of the One Piece series.
