It's been six months since Dubai was wiped off the map by a cataclysmic sandstorm. Thousands of lives have been lost, including those of American soldiers sent to help evacuate the city. Today, the city lies buried under sand - the world's most opulent ruin. Now, a radio signal is broadcasting from Dubai. A Delta Force team is sent to infiltrate the city and find its source.

Their mission is simple: Locate survivors and radio for evacuation. What they find is a city in the grip of a violent struggle for control. In order to fulfil their mission, they'll have to find the man at the heart of this madness – the elusive Col. John Konrad.

In addition to the single-player campaign, Spec Ops: The Line features an expansive, class-based multiplayer experience. The multiplayer mode features squad-based games that take place in the visually stunning environments of a sandstorm ravaged Dubai. As an added incentive, players who pre-order the game from participating retailers will receive a free upgrade to the Premium Edition, containing the following online multiplayer content:
- Twice the amount of experience points will be awarded during the first week of play, enabling gamers to expedite character ranking;
- The AK-47 weapon will unlock at rank one;
- The “Officer Class” will unlock at rank one. This character class includes several team-based advantages, such as reducing damage to teammates and increasing the effectiveness of other classes;
- Access to the “FUBAR Pack,” which contains exclusive accessories allowing players to customize their characters with unique and visually distinctive items.

- Take Cover, and take Charge: Use Dubai and it’s surroundings to take cover, hiding from enemy attacking and flanking. Order your squadmates to attack, heal, flank, grenade, and help with survival.
- Use Sand as a Weapon: Shoot windows, doors, walls, and wherever else sand may be hiding to unleash an avalanche of sand onto your opponent.

One of the most iconic films ever made and one of the most disturbing dramatisations of the Vietnam War ever seen, Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now is cinema at its most epic and unforgettable. Traumatised soldier Captain Benjamin L. Willard has been chosen for a highly classified mission. He must journey along the notorious Nung river and into the savage depths of war torn Cambodia in search of the mysterious Colonel Kurtz.
