Adaptated from the classic Alexandre Dumas novel. Edmond Dantes, falsely accused by those jealous of his good fortune, is sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison where he meets a fellow prisoner whom everyone believes to be mad. The 'mad' prisoner tells Edmond of a treasure hidden away on a tiny island, that only he knows the location of. After his fellow inmate's death, Edmond takes it upon himself to find the treasure, so he can exact revenge on those who have wronged him.
