When she witnesses a gang of three crooks brutally murdering her father in the course of a robbery, beautiful young Jean Talbot (Elizabeth Sellars The Barefoot Contessa) vows to avenge him and to bring the perpetrators to justice.
In the case of two of the three, fate beats her to it when they perish in a car crash fleeing the scene but the third survives and invents an alibi the cops just can t break.
