With appearances by George Sewell and scripts by a distinguished team of writers that included Terence Feely (Thriller) and Roger Marshall (The Sweeney, The Professionals), it’s no surprise that The Gentle Touch was one of the most successful police dramas ever made. This complete series was originally screened in 1981 and 1982.
