From up and coming and one to watch director Jang Cheol-soo comes this tale of two women from the Korean town of Moodoo. When Seoul banker Hae-won visited Moodoo to see her grandparents she befriended local girl Bok-nam. The two kept in contact by writing letters to one another but after a while Hae-won stopped replying.
After a few years Hae-won returns to Moodoo and feels that Bok-nam isn’t been treated appropriately. She is used as a plaything for the men and worker for the women. Hae-won feels that she is being treated as a slave but decides to stay out of it and not get involved despite Bok-nam's plea for help.
When Bok-nam’s daughter dies she finally snaps and seeks a brutal and bloody revenge on the people she sees responsible. Will she cross paths with Hae-won, the woman she thought she could trust but ignored her plea for help?
