Documentary filmmaker Mat Whitecross makes his feature film debut with this searing biopic that focuses on the life and career of Blockheads frontman Ian Dury (played here by Andy Serkis; most famous for his portrayal of Gollum in Peter Jackson's LORD OF THE RINGS). Serkis is ably supported by a cast of Britain's leading acting talent which includes Naomi Harris (28 DAYS LATER), Ray Winstone (SEXY BEAST), Olivia Williams (THE SIXTH SENSE), Noel Clarke (KIDULTHOOD), Toby Jones (INFAMOUS) and MacKenzie Crook (THE OFFICE).
