Your wish of being a pilot will be granted for the day with the Introduction to Becoming an Airline Pilot. A CAA Licensed Flight Instructor will be by your side as you learn to fly and become king, or queen, of the skies. After a briefing and introduction into the wonderful world of an airline pilot, it will be your chance to take the controls of an aircraft. The one to one lesson will last for around 20 minutes and will be very hands on.
You will have worked up an appetite after flying, so lunch will be waiting for you, after which a guided tour of the hangers will be given. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions about different types of aircrafts and how they work. The memorable day will end with a presentation on the career options of an airline pilot. Important Information
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. This experience runs Monday to Saturday inclusive, apart from at the Yorkshire location where it runs on Fridays only. Please allow 4 hours in total for this experience. Minimum age is 12, apart from at the Banbury location where the minimum age is 16; maximum weight is 16 stone.
Please bring a valid driving licence or passport with you on the day. This experience takes place in small groups; maximum group size is 8. Your time in the aircraft will count towards a Pilot's Licence. All dates are subject to availability. This voucher cannot be extended.
