The session will equip you with the skills to take control of the dogs and steer them around a track. In the first hour you will learn how to control the dogs and make them turn on your command, before you're let to pilot the team around the track. Don't be fooled, this isn't a sit on, look at the scenery type of ride, it's a hands on, get involved adventure.
After the action you can chill around the campfire with a hot brew and mushers snack. Huskies are lovable, energetic animals that love to work in harness, they want to run, it's up to you to make them. The session works on your powers of communication and leadership as well as developing an understanding of what the dogs expect from you.
When?
This experience is available on selected dates, throughout the year, however there are time restrictions in the Summer due to heat. Valid until 1st December 2012.
Duration?
This experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
Group Size?
It will be just you and the instructor.
Spectators?
You're welcome to bring spectators to watch.
Minimum Age?
The minimum age is 12 years.
