Enjoy the unique sensation of defying gravity whilst tearing down a hill at speeds of up to 30 mph strapped inside a 12-foot inflatable Sphere! With 3-foot of air between you and the ground it’s fast-paced, exhilarating and it's unlike anything you have ever experienced before!
What happens on the day?
On arrival you’ll be booked into the site and have the chance to watch other participants while you wait in a designated safe area until it’s your turn to ride. You’ll be strapped into your harness and taken to the top of the hill, and then it’s time for a safety briefing on how to ride the Sphere safely. Finally, you’ll be put inside the Sphere to experience the ride of your life!

What should I wear?
Crew neck top and comfortable trousers are recommended. All jewellery, belts, shoes/socks must also be removed.
How long should I allow for this experience?
Your ride will last from 30 seconds to 1 minute.
You should allow at least 1 hour for your visit.
When does the activity take place?
Courses run between April and September. Your voucher is valid for weekdays only but not including bank holidays.
We recommend you book at least four weeks in advance to ensure that dates are available before the expiry date listed on the voucher. This is only a guideline and we advise you book as early as possible to avoid disappointment. You must book and take your experience before the expiry date. All bookings are subject to availability.
Are there any restrictions?
Minimum Age: 12. Parental consent is required up to the age of 18yrs at all sites and under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult in the sphere.
Minimum Height: 1.4m
Maximum Height: 2.2m
Maximum Weight: 15 stone (95kg) for women and 18 stone (114kg) for men
Maximum Girth: 60”
Your voucher is valid for nine months from the date of issue, kindly note that you must have booked and taken your experience before the expiry date as vouchers may not be extended beyond their expiration date.
The business judgment of customer weight/height (or any other restriction) is final and may be decided upon by SphereMania staff on the day of the ride.
Participants must be physically fit. Participation is prohibited if you are pregnant; under the influence of alcohol or drugs; suffering or have ever suffered from back/neck problems; have had an operation in the last 12 months, have heart or blood pressure problems, suffer from epilepsy or are receiving medical treatment that could be affected by the activity. If you suffer from any other conditions and are in any doubt as to your suitability to participate please contact SphereMania Ltd.
What about the weather?
Sphereing is a weather dependant activity. Please call the centre direct before you set out to check weather conditions, in the unlikely event that the experience is cancelled an alternative date will be offered to you. The check-line number will be provided to you when you make your booking.
Can I bring spectators?
Yes. Spectators should adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines and remain in the designated safe areas at all times.
What about insurance?
Personal Accident Insurance to the value of £50,000 together with cancellation indemnity, subject to terms, is included with every voucher. The centres contracted with us hold public indemnity liability insurance. We also hold contingency liability cover. You will not be liable for accidental damage to vehicles or equipment, except where damage has been caused as a result of recklessness or wilful negligence.
