With a backstory beginning 10,000 years before the player even enters the game, Sins of a Solar Empire plots gamers in the middle of an epic conflict between the three featured races: the Advent, the Vasari and the Trader Emergency Coalition. Each of the races have their own individual histories and abilities, uniquely impacting how the game is played.
Sins of a Solar Empire, is an epic game and to detail all its intricacies would take hours. Playable both online and offline, the game takes place over a number of galaxies, each encompassing their own star systems, planets and space stations. Players control fleets consisting of a number of different types of spacecrafts in an attempt to explore the world around them, collecting resources and conquering planets along the way.
The game can be played in an innumerable amount of ways and players will have to decide whether they want to use diplomacy, force, cultural influence or any other method in their quest for domination. Sins of a Solar Empire is a commendable game, limited only by the time players have to invest in it.
