The train is a collection of cars that were purchased from museums and private collections throughout America. With many exciting itineraries, the journeys trace jazz and blues to their origins in New Orleans, though the National Parks of the Pacific coast, from hushed mountains to boiling mud pots, keeping the tradition of the golden age of rail with luxury and style.
DISC TWO - The Eastern & Oriental Express
Experience a unique view of the hidden treasures of South East Asia on board the opulent Eastern and Oriental Express. Journey from the ancient and mysterious city of Bangkok, across the infamous bridge over the river Kwai, and on through the lush jungles of Malaysia and the city of Kuala Lumpur to the modern city of Singapore.
DISC THREE - The South Oriental Express
Eight vintage 40's and 50's era stainless steel Budd Cars, restored in luxurious classical period style with dome dining, vista dome, parlous and observation cars provide the finest rail excursions though the incomparable Copper Canyon area of Northern Mexico in the rugged Sierra Madre Mountains. Covering an area larger than the Grand Canyon, this area is rugged and remote; must only accessible by train. From cactus and sage brush to cedar and pine, with cascading waterfalls and breathtaking views of the canyons. Visit the natural wonders, rustic villages and the Tarahumara Indians, the native inhabitants of the area. A train journey to another world...the world of the Copper Canyon.
DISC FOUR - The Train De Luxe Rail Safari
A luxury train journey through Zimbabwe from Johannesburg to one of the natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. Reliving the golden age of the steam train, the route snakes though some of the continent's wildest National Parks. The railway was a central part of a planned British colonisation of the entire African continent, by Cecil John Rhodes and the route is rich in historical traditions. Rhodes' private carriage is still used by the Train De Luxe on the journey.
DISC FIVE - The Venice Simplon Orient Express
The Venice Simplon Orient Express is the most famous train in the world. This is an adventure reliving the mystique and sheer decadence of travelling in Edwardian splendour, carrying passengers across Europe in the style of a bygone era, with sumptuous cuisine and a personal service which is beyond comparison.
