Jim Grant (Robert Redford) is a civil rights lawyer and single father raising his daughter in the tranquil suburbs of Albany, New York.
His world is turned upside down when brash young reporter Ben Shepard (Shia Labeouf) exposes Grant’s true identity as a 1970s anti-war radical fugitive wanted for murder. Now the centre of a nationwide manhunt and with the FBI in hot-pursuit, he sets off on a cross-country journey to track down the one person that can clear his name.
For his 9th film as director, Robert Redford has enlisted a Hollywood A-list cast including Julie Christie (Darling), Chris Cooper (The Bourne Trilogy), Brendan Gleeson (Suffragette), Terrence Howard(Prisoners), Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise) and Stanley Tucci (Hunger Games).
