Jim the Digger, Tom, Barney and the fire crew have been designated to get a Christmas tree from the forest. Martin and Mia are dressed as Santa’s Little Helpers. Bobby, Tiffany and Timba are to be the band that plays when the Christmas lights are switched on – if they can ever get to play in tune. Ted is building a sleigh to carry Father Christmas and, as a special surprise, Max has been chosen to play the part.
All of this leaves Jumpi and Kimmy without a job – or a costume to wear. Independently they both decide they want to dress up as Father Christmas and this causes a huge amount of confusion in the City. After many disasters, adventures and mix-ups, the town come together and put on a spectacular display... and they even get a surprise visit from the real Father Christmas!
