This major BBC television documentary series is about life on board the fourth HMS Ark Royal and was first broadcast in the late seventies. The series was filmed in 1976 after the completion of a major refit and coincided with the 21st anniversary of her commission and follows the aircraft carrier on a five and a half month deployment to North America in that year.
